"Gray Wolf Band plays a variety of styles of music. You will hear anything from Classic Rock, Blues, heavy rock, country, Mo-Town.... you name it. The Band has 5 members (4 male, 1 female). Four of which are capable of lead or harmony Vocals. This allows the band to cover many artists known for their harmony vocals like Eagles, CSN, Beatles....etc.
Band members are Christi Marxen, Tom Drabek, Kevin Soeken, Larry Burns, and Jim Ryan. Christi is well known for her ability to sing a variety of artists like Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt,Stevie Nicks...etc. Tom Drabek is an accomplished percussionist. He is one of the few drummers you can still catch doing a plausible solo during a nights show! Kevin Soeken is highly talented bassist with an incredible ear for music. He sings the difficult high harmonies with excellent pitch. He and Tom have been together for over six years and form the solid base of the Band. Larry Burns is the lead guitarist. He has a fantastic ability to play and sing most anything with an incredible passion, but most definitely excels with the Blues. Jim Ryan is the steady rhythm guitarist, and lead/harmony vocalist with a number of original songs to his credit. His vocal ability is thought to sound like, (a cross between three Jim's), James Taylor, Jimmy Buffet, Jim Croce." - Quad City Times
Update: Since the article was written, Kenny Carleton replaced Kevin Soeken, Christi Marxen is now with Third Rail. (So it is now a four piece.)
