First off lets talk about Mixers. Wow, you guys like to rock, and party there. Since Guns first formed as a full band last June, we've played almost a dozen gigs. Mixers was the most fun we've had to date. Mixers is a small bar with a huge atmosphere. It has a long bar to the left as you walk in, and a line of tables to the right. There is also a padded bench that runs along the length of the wall on the right. Mixers is also handicapped accessible, with a ramp that leads into the pool room that also houses the restrooms. There is an outdoor patio with tables and chairs that can be reached through a door in the pool room, for when you need a break from the smoke and music, or just need a breath of fresh air.

One of the neat features of Mixers is they have a video camera that faces the stage, with television monitors above the end of the bar towards the door, and one in the pool room. This way you can still shoot pool without missing the action from the stage. While Mixers is smaller than other clubs this type, it's an advantage to the band. You feel close to the people and you can keep the volume down. The acoustics seemed perfect. The only negative thing about Mixers is the small stage and how it's in the corner rather than in the middle. If they could extend the stage all the way across to the wall, it would be perfect. Mixers caters to all your rock and roll needs, from classic rock bands like Class Act, Guns For Hire, Repeat Offender, to more metal bands like Speedfinger.
